Full Root-level Access
What does the full root-level access option entail? What privileges will it bestow you with? How to sign in to your server as root?
Having root-level access to a server signifies that you can view and modify any file on it, which includes essential system files. You can also install software that can update certain settings on the server throughout the, so the installation can be performed only if you are logged in as the root user. The latter has full privileges, i.e. you will have full control over your machine at any time and you'll be able to do anything you need. You can also make other users either with similar rights or with fewer rights, based on what you require them for - day-to-day tasks, other server admins, etc. To be on the safe side, it is generally recommended to employ the root account only when you really need it and not for tasks that you can do via other accounts. You may use a web-based graphical interface or a Secure Shell console to be able to connect with the server and to manage it at the root level.

Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Hosting
Each and every
dedicated server that we offer gives you full root-level access, when the server is ordered without a Control Panel, or with cPanel or DirectAdmin. If you would like to set up and run heavy, resource-demanding applications and they have special requirements about the server software environment that can't be fulfilled by a conventional shared website hosting plan, our servers will be the best solution. Without any Control Panel at hand, you can access the server and update its settings as well as the content which you upload using a console, whereas with cPanel and DirectAdmin, you'll use a graphical interface to control everything related to your online content, and most server-side settings. Needless to say, when you get a dedicated server with no Control Panel, you can set up a third-party software instrument manually, as long as it is compatible with the OS that you've chosen at registration. If you select the Hepsia Control Panel on your order page, you'll have limited root access, however you'll still be able to do quite a lot of things through a Secure Shell console.
